We at, ORION GROUP have ventured widely into the country’s aviation sector. With a vision to establish itself to be among the leading in this sector, we focus on representation of renowned airlines as its’ General Sales Agent (GSA) and provide cargo handling services. We also have a view to establish a low budget airline in the country.
Namely we have four units in the aviation sector. Aviation Management Services (BD) Ltd. or AMS provides Cargo Scanning and Cargo Handling Services at Zia International Airport, Dhaka. Bangladesh Aero Vision Ltd. is the appointed GSA of Yemen Airways, the national Carrier of Republic of Yemen. Accom Aviation Services Ltd is the newly appointed GSA of the popular Middle East carrier “Oman Air”, the national carrier of Oman. Air East Asia Ltd has been set up with a view to establish a budget airline in collaboration with Air Asia Berhad of Malaysia.

Accom Aviation Services Ltd., has been awarded the General Sales Agent (GSA) of “OMAN AIR” the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman.
Oman Air commenced its operations in 1993 and today, it is one of the leading airlines in the Middle East and a proud ambassador of Oman’s traditional hospitality. With extremely high dependability & reliability, superior performance, easy maintenance and operations of the carriers along with home touch hospitality, service and worm care, Oman Air has put itself into the heart of the passengers as their prior choice.
At present, Oman Air is offline in Bangladesh but hopes to commence full operations by the end of this year.

Air East Asia Airlines
Air East Asia Limited was set up with a view to introduce Low Cost Airline in Bangladesh. Being the flag bearer of such a concept in the country, Air East Asia plans to make its name synonymous with low fare air travel in this region and would be committed to make air travel more affordable and accessible for everyone, by eliminating traditional passenger services. Such a concept is widely popular in North America, Europe and other parts of Asia.
Air East Asia is proud to have Air Asia Berhad of Malaysia as the technical partner.
The operations will presumably begin this year.

Aviation Management Services
Aviation Management Services (BD) Ltd. has been entrusted to construct and conduct the cargo scanning facility at Bangladesh’s Premier Airport, Zia International Airport, Dhaka.
Following the 9/11 tragedy in the United States, Government of Bangladesh made it mandatory that all exportable cargo should be scanned before departure. Subsequent to this decision, a tender was called by the Government and AMS secured the contract through the tendering process.
Since then AMS has been providing services at the Zia International Airport and has satisfied the international carriers that are operating in Bangladesh such as Saudia, Emirates, Gulf Air, Yemen Airways, Singapore Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Thai, Indian Airlines, Qatar Airways, Kuwait Air, etc.

Bangladesh Aero Vision Ltd.
Bangladesh Aero vision Ltd., the impressive addition to the members of Orion Group, is the appointed General Sales Agent (GSA) of YEMEN AIRWAYS.
The Airways is currently operating A-310 Air Bus twice weekly from and to Dhaka and Sanaa’.
Yemen Airways had started its journey as a domestic carrier and later transformed into an aspiring international carrier. It is one of the oldest Middle Eastern carriers serving more than 50 years of hospitality and safety records.
Its service has covered around 26 international destinations within 3 continents – Asia, Africa, and Europe and with good reputation in service and excellent safety records that it was awarded the Certificate of Membership for the years 1988/1989 form FSF (Flight Safety Foundation) Inc. It is also an active member of IATA, AACO and ICAO. Its new destinations include Dhaka, Johannesburg and Baghdad. Bangladesh Aero Vision has started its commercial operations from August 2004.
