Orion has the following units in construction.

Accom Engineering Limited:

Accom Engineering Ltd. is another constructions wing of Orion Group. It has under taken many large projects and is a Category ‘A’ Special Contracting Company.

Arab Constructor Company Limited:

Arab Contractor Co. Ltd. has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the country in the fields of Civil Engineering construction, design consultancy and turnkey projects.

The Company was awarded the ‘Construction of the Saudi Embassy Complex Project at Dhaka’ through an internationally participated transparent tendering process in 2004.

The Site was officially Handed Over on March 01, 2006 and the construction will be completed by February 29, 2008 (24 Months).

The Company is also responsible for the total supervision and construction management of ‘City Center’, the 37-storied tallest ever building and the landmark of Dhaka City.

Previous projects of the Company

In July 1999, under a joint venture agreement with The Arab Contractors (Dubai), it participated in the civil construction of 210 MW Thermal Power Plant unit 1 at Siddhirganj and completed the total civil works including steel structure and erection works.

It also undertook the construction of a 2 level basement car parking at Dhaka Sheraton Hotel and has under its belt completed the construction of a number of Pre-Fabricated Steel Buildings, as a Turn-key Contractor.

The renovation and interior decoration of ORION HOUSE, the Corporate Office of Orion Group was done by Arab Contractor in 2004.

Besides these, The Company is also involved with number consultancies of design & drawings.

Interior Accom Consorium Limited:

Re-Furbishment of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel

Interior Accom Consortium Ltd. is another project building and construction wing of Orion Group. The company is mainly involved in civil construction, architecture and all engineering consultancy including interior decoration and Management.

Interior Accom Consortium Ltd., was recently awarded the contract of ‘The Interior Refurbishment for the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka’, for the complete interior refurbishment works of the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.

This project was awarded through an internationally invited tendering process for the entire renovation of one of the country’s prestigious 5-star hotels.

The works of the project is in process and should be completed by March 2007.
