“ORION 33^rd Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship 2018” was held from January 3^rd to January 06^th, 2018 at Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka. “ORION 33^rd Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship 2018” is an international professional event and this yearSri Lanka, Nepal, Hong Kong, Bhutan and Afghanistan along with Bangladesh participated in the tournament. The program started by raising the flags of the participant countries with respective National Anthems. The program was inaugurated by Major General A K M Abdullahil Baquee, the Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Golf Federation. Mr. Salman Obaidul Karim, the Managing Director of ORION and Brig. General Quazi Shamsul Islam, Secretary General of BGF was also present in this event. He delivered his valuable speech in this propitious occasion. A cultural performance was also participated by Bangladeshi kids which represented the culture, history and traditions of our country. ORION Group, the biggest sponsor for amateur event in Bangladesh proved their dedication for the development of golf once again by sponsoring this prestigious event for consecutive second year.
