ORION GROUP hosted a Farewell followed by Lunch on Tuesday, August 4^th, 2015 at The Westin Hotel Dhaka in honor of the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Korea H.E. Mr. Lee Yun-young. The festive occasion was graced with valued presence of prominent members of the diplomatic community, including the Ambassador of the USA H. E. Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat, Honorable Consul Mr. Darryl Lau of the Consulate of the Republic of Singapore, Hon’ble Consul of Maldives, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Ferdinand von Weyhe, the First Secretary of the High Commission of India Mr. Rajesh Uike amongst other distinguished diplomats. Top officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh were also present in the events along with the newly appointed Director General of RAB, Mr. Benazir Ahmed to pay their homage to the outgoing Ambassador.

Honorable Chairman of Orion Group Mr. Mohammed Obaidul Karim hosted the event and handed over a flower bouquet and other memorabilia to extend sincere appreciations to the Ambassador Mr. Lee Yun-young. Mr. Salman Obaidul Karim, Managing Director of Orion Group made a speech commemorating the contribution of the outgoing ambassador of South Korea on the occasion, where key official of Orion Group were also present. This lunch was part of a continuing effort from Orion Group to strengthen its ties with foreign countries through the diplomatic enclave based in Dhaka.
