Orion implemented a 100 MW HFO based power plant in Meghnaghat namely Orion Power Meghnaghat Ltd. with the commitment to deliver reliable and most affordable electricity across the country. The power plant was designed to generate reliable electricity by using modern European engines, machinery and equipment. The plant has been generating and delivering electricity to the national grid on a regular basis since May 2011. It's construction was completed in a record time of just nine (09) months.
